A house of memories, so dear to me
Where fields of green and skies so blue
Still linger in my mind’s eye, so vividly
The scent of the countryside, forever true

The creak of the floorboards, the rustle of leaves
The chirping of birds, the warmth of the sun
All these things my heart still believes
As I think of the house where I’m from

The old past may be gone, but the memories live on
In the walls of that house, where my childhood was spent
I can still see the love that was shown
